Shannon May Flynn (born 22 August 1996) is an English actress from Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

Shannon trained at Starstruck Theatre School in Rochdale since the age of four. In March 2009, Shannon played a 'weird sister' in a Manchester production of Macbeth. Then two months later, 12-year-old Shannon landed the role of Emily James in the fifth series of BBC drama Waterloo Road. Shannon was only cast for the first ten episodes, but has appeared in episodes 11, 12, 15 and 16. It is believed Shannon will reprise her role in the sixth series and is back on the set filming for the seventh series. Shannon also guest starred in Holby City in February 2011. Shannon can currently be seen in ITV1's new series Scott and Bailey as Elise Scott.
Shannon, a child of three lives with mum Elenor and dad Mark in Rochdale. She is currently in Year 11 at Oulder Hill Community School.
